Hi Lads, as suggested a dedicated game week 12 page to discuss our individual and squad plans.
I will have to make a call on which 2 of our teams are going to sit this one out so interested to get your feedback on this too. I will need to wait for last minute injury news to filter in especially on Hazard and Sanchez this week and assess what shape our benches are in to cover for any big hitters hugging the treatment table.
Hits are also going to have to pay off immediately for us to be competitive I think so will need to take that into account.
I am just glad I have made my transfers already as a lot to get my head around this week 😀
Cheers

At the moment Haz and Costa is yellow flagged for my team. Probably slightly handicapped as I've taken two hits this week and most teams have caught up on the Haz and Costa bandwagon. Team will look like this barring any other injuries:
Foster Williams Pieters Alonso Haz Firmino Coutinho Ozil Allen Lukaku Costa
Grant Anichebe Fuchs Amat

I'm on;
Pickford Fuchs McAuley Pieters Haz (V) Coutnho Firminho Allen Lukaku Costa Aguero (C)
Foster Capoue Amat Holebas
No transfers made. If anything changes, it'd be a DEF but almost certainly holding onto the FT.

At the moment, Sanchez Wilson Costa Cameron are all doubts for me with 1 FT, 1M ITB. If 3 of them plays for sure, I will get the other out and have a solid team for the week.

I am looking at
Pickford (Heaton) Lovren, McAuley, Pieters (Amat, Smith) KDB, Hazard, Firmino, Coutinho, Fletcher Aguero(C), Lukaku, (Barrow)
No FTs left, and nothing that I think is worth a hit this week. In goal I am leaning towards Pickard - I know Sunderland have no clean sheets, but if not at home to Hull, when do I play him? Shout if you think I am mad. In defence, I have three playing with reasonable/good fixtures; Smith is sitting out his ban, and Amat also sits out, although I am hoping Brady comes back to him soon (its not as if the others are any good). The only question with the Mids/Forwards is Fletcher or Barrow, and I think the choice is between 3 pts or 1 given Barrow did not start against Utd. He should have scored though and I like him at home to Palace in GW13.
If Aguero is likely to start I want him as my captain, but I will be watching the Pressers. Lukaku is next for me. Hazard's record on the road is less impressive, I never know which Liverpool Mid will deliver (and even though its often both, Southampton away after the IB is risky), and I think there are better options than KDB this week. I am however, open to being persuaded otherwise.
I transferred Sanchez out this week and still think it is highly unlikely that Wenger starts him against Utd. If he emerges 'fit' from the game on Tuesday, he is still a keeper if you have him, and I am not ruling out buying him back in GW13. I still think the assessment I posted on Hazard after last night's match, and before Hazardgate kicked off, is accurate. Its fair enough that he is flagged on FPL but, based on what I saw, I like his chances of starting against Boro.
Looking at our Squads, I don't see any that I don't like, so my recommendation for GW12 would be to look at who will be carrying hits once the dust has settled on Squad repairs. It goes without saying that whatever the Skipper decides is fine by me.

Skip - Do you want us to adopt a team logo when posting on FPL (perhaps copying your excellent grav and adjusting our FPL titles) to show that we are bull sitters and proud of it!

Hey Lord, my avatar is our team log that I submitted last week. Sorry I forgot to send to you guys but I'm glad you like it. Having just seen the other team logos I think we have the best (Jacksonville a close second).
That's a great idea to change all our FFS avatars to match the team logo. I haven't done this in a while so i will email the logo to you now in case you get time to setup before I do after work. From memory we need to link it to somewhere on the net?
Fixtures are out and we are playing Phoenix.
So was thinking I may need to delegate a couple of roles out for this game week if anyone is interested. It's a squad game after all 😀
1) Opposition Scout - quick suss out of our opponents and likely captain choices they might make.
2) Chief Press Officer - official role out of our team selection and general banter master on FFS.
Cheers

Hey skip,
Would be great that all of us have the same avatars.
I can help out with the opposition scouting. Have done some initial scouting on Phoenix's capt Kingozil. From GW1-3, Kun was his capt. When Kun got suspended, Haz and Lukaku took over. Kun came back in GW6. However, Sanchez was his capt choice from GW7-10 even though Kun was available and had a haul in GW10. He switched back to Kun in GW11. Only taken one hit this season. He's used his FT for this week already with 2.2itb. His current GW11 team looks like this below. Most prob he'll capt Kun or Lukaku this week.
Pickford Evans Vert Holebas Sanchez Mane Firm Redmond Austin Lukaku Kun
Nordfelt Capoue Amat Williams
Will scout other team members when the final list is out. He's been msg-ing around looking to fill his team based on his message history. Do let me know if you need any further analysis.
Cheers

Another team member from Phoenix - Hurricane Gilbert (ID 15141). Took hits (-4) on four occasions. Havnt made FT this week. SV104.2 with 0.4itb. Favours 3-4-3. Used 3-5-2 last GW.
Capt choices: GW1-3: Kun GW4: Haz GW5: Nacho GW6: Kun GW7: Mane GW8: Kun GW9: Wally GW10: Luk GW 11: Haz
GW11 Team:
Heaton Walker Holebas Fuchs Mane Allen Siggy Haz Firm Luk Kun
Pickford Wilson Lovren Amat
Likely capt choices: Luk/Haz/Kun (hasn't favoured Kun for the last 3 weeks)

Great work Kelvin. It looks like there is a chance they might overlook Aguero then which will suit is as he's won our internal poll. The lack of hits is a little worrying though.
At the moment I'm thinking to stick with the obvious game plan this week to see how that works out for us. We will have better idea for future gameweeks as to what our opposition is likely to do and then we can maybe counteract that e.g. different captains, defence double ups etc

Skip - I am happy to volunteer for Chief Press Officer duties; which I assume means bigging us up on FFS and yanking the chains of the other teams. Any dirt team mates can provide for me to work with will be gratefully received. I will make the rest up!

Lord - if Aguero isn't fit, I like KDB as a captain choice. He's certainly the player I'm most worried about not owning, think he could get double figure haul this week. Also, if you're playing Pickford I may double up with Foster. Can't decide between the two anyway. Boss, if you've any objections with the Baggies double up, just shout.
Great work Kelvin. Captain picks are gonna make a big difference huh?

I think I'm the only one with KDB in the team. KDB was my initial choice as a captain. Until recently my friend who bought an account on FFFix suggesting KDB won't be starting the next week.
