Hi Lads great to have you all on here.
A litlle about me:
I am long term FFS fan originally from Ireland but now living in Perth, Western Australia.
I was a lot more involved with the forums back in the day when the site originally kicked off and the gang was a lot smaller.
Been a silent observer over the last few seasons but as my team is underperforming this year I am hoping that getting involved with the FCB will get me back in the midst of things again and help me push my team up in the overall ranks. I think getting some advice from you guys will help in this.
I have been reasonably consistent over last few years, (ignore first season where I basically had a ghost team) with 3 top 10k finishes in last 5 seasons and a career best rank so far of 2,282.
As a suffering Manchester United fan I held onto Zlatan way too long when getting in Costa or Austin was the way to go a few weeks back. Lucky Zlatan finally scored against Swansea and saved me the headache by getting a yellow card that has him miss the arsenal game. I transferred him and Sigurdson out straight away and brought in Defoe and Hazard for a hit. As you probably noticed my team value is not great as I normally do transfers late especially over international breaks not couldn't afford another loss in cash this time from waiting.
I have gone for a weakened defence this year and after selling Valencia due to his injury don't have any big hitter at the back.
Team is as follows:
Foster (Pickford)
Evans Francis Pieters (Amat Holebas*)
Allen Hazard Coutinho Sanchez (Capoue)
Aguero Lukaku Defoe
1.1m in the bank
In terms of our squad philosophy I won't expect you guys to make sacrifices for the FCB. I'm competitive and want to do well of course but understand you all probably have cash mini leagues on the go. Hopefully we can all help each other with making the best decisions for our own teams as well as the Chicago Bull Sitters.
Cheers
Connor
